Panthers win Postseason Awards

The Crestwood Panthers are pleased to announce Joe Ucho as the Northern Illinois Baseball League pitcher of the year. Ucho led the NIBL; in ERA, Strikeouts and wins. 

 

The Panthers also learned that the Chicago Suburban Baseball League's managers have voted Tom Lally as the 2011 Collegiate League Player of the Year. Tom played 4 positions for the Panthers in 2011, including a stellar job at both shortstop and Centerfield. Tom led the league in stolen bases, and was top 5 in hits and batting average in the league. 

 

Finally, in an extremely close vote the Panthers are pleased to announce that staff leader Brian Lorenz has won the 2011 CSBL Cy Young award. Lorenz becomes the first 2 time, and back to back Cy winner in league history. Lorenz will be back in 2012 to try and make it 3 in a row!

Panthers Prep for 2012

The Crestwood Panthers are putting together the pieces for their 37th season. The Panthers are excited to announce the return of  veterans Brian Lorenz, Bill Storrs, Matt Kucharski, Tim Storrs, Tim Barry, Joe Ucho and Brandon Spongberg. 

 

Joining the veteran Panthers are several other local standouts including Bobby Sheppard (UIC), Rob Rabkowzi (Valpo), Austin Wallace (Coastal Carolina), Jack Murphy ( Wright State), and Brian Monette (Southern Illinois).
